Keewaywin Capital selected as a 2024 Impact Index+ Issuer
TORONTO, Apr. 17, 2024 — Keewaywin Capital Inc, the first-ever 100% Indigenous-owned private credit fund manager focused on Indigenous housing, has been selected as a 2024 Impact Index+ Issuer under the SVX Impact Index.
Impact Index+ is a group of qualified private impact investment offerings that are vetted to meet rigorous impact, governance, and financial standards. It is a sub-brand under the SVX Impact Index, a free database showcasing all private impact offerings available to Canadian investors.
The recognition underscores Keewaywin Capital's commitment to driving positive change through private impact investment offerings. Tracee Smith, President and CEO of Keewaywin Capital and Missanabie Cree First Nation, said, "We created our private credit solution to address the Indigenous housing crisis in Canada, and it is great to see it acknowledged for the incredible opportunity it offers both investors and end borrowers."
This year’s list comprises 23 issuers selected from 63 Impact Index+ issuer applications. Application analysis and review for the 2024 Impact Index+ cohort is led by SVX.
Impact Index+ offerings are vetted and reviewed by an Advisory Group.
